Ledwood Mechanical Engineering Ltd. has become the only company in Wales – and one of just a small handful across the UK – to achieve grant status in three of the country’s most rigorous industrial readiness programmes: Fit4Offshore Renewables (F4OR), Fit4Nuclear (F4N), and Fit4Hydrogen & Carbon Capture (F4H2&CCS).
The achievement positions Ledwood at the forefront of the UK’s evolving energy supply chain, underscoring its ambition to support complex engineering projects across multiple low-carbon and renewable sectors.
Fit4Offshore Renewables (F4OR), developed by the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, is a unique programme designed to strengthen the UK supply chain by equipping companies with the knowledge, skills, and tools to compete successfully in the offshore renewable energy market. The programme was funded by Floventis.
By achieving grant status in F4OR, Ledwood is now strategically positioned to contribute to the UK’s net-zero transition across multiple industries.
