Our engineering, fabrication, coating and construction facilities

Ledwood has the facilities and expertise to fabricate plant and equipment on a large scale.

Our dockside location allows direct access to a deep water port, facilitating shipping of large assemblies of over 1,000 tonnes.

Our facilities include:

• General fabrication – 60,000 sq ft (5,500 sq m) of fabrication facilities with an additional 250,000 sq ft (23,226 sq m) available as required. Overhead gantry cranes and a suite of plant & equipment from plasma cutters & welding sets to drills and saws.
  
• Pipe work fabrication – 25,000 sq ft (2,300 sq m) of facilities.
  
• Painting and protective coatings – 12,000 sq ft (1,150 sq m) facility with additional tented space as required.
  
• Shipping – our on-site quay is 48m in width with a 4m water depth at high water with additional nearby quayside facilities 180m in width and 11m in depth at neap high water. Piled apron, with adjacent hard standing.
  
• Assembly space & storage – our 10 acre (4ha) site includes 5 acres (2 ha) adjacent lay down area with quayside load out facility capable of accommodating over 1,000 tonnes.
  
• Offices facilities – capable of seating up to 75 members of staff complete with meeting rooms & kitchen areas.
  
• Onsite maintenance – in-house mechanics manage in-house forklifts, tele-handlers, articulated boom work platforms and small and medium sized cranes.
